Saltire Prize
This £10 Million prize was announced in April 2008 as a means of spurring innovation in clean energy. The prize is based around clean tech innovation and has several qualifying factors, including the challenge to inspire a revolution in green energy, global scope, relevance to Scotland in natural resources usage, reflect and area of expertise relevant to Scotland, and be achieveable in the short to medium term.
