Wine Therapist** Nathan Nolan eliminates the pretentiousness that surrounds wine by demystifying the culture and making sessions fun, relaxed and interactive. He is on a mission to empower people with knowledge and confidence in their own ability to taste and appreciate wine.

The sessions will also touch on basics such as the history of wine, vine growing and wine making, wine producing countries, grape varieties and choosing the perfect wine to accompany different types of food.

The 1st session will took place on Wednesday 10th of June at 7pm and included at least 6 diverse offerings accompanied light aperitif snacks that best suit the wines.

Pricing will vary from session to session depending on selected wines on offer, but will typically be in the range of £20-30 per person. All wines will be sourced on a value for money basis, with a focus on wines retailing for less than £10.

A Word from The Wine Therapist:

"I first fell for wine under the tutelage of a Kiwi oenophile while working in a pub in South London over 10 years ago. Later I moved into retail while taking formal training at The Wine Spirit Education Trust.  My most recent work has been as a Sommelier in London and Los Angeles and freelance wine consultant.
I love nothing more than sharing my knowledge and tremendous passion for wine with others so that they may be “touched” by the vine as I have been."

Hub Culture looks forward to seeing you all for a little mid-week therapy soon!
