OVERVIEW
Climate Deal Day is a global, open-source project for deals to make the world a little better. January 26, 2011.

Base Actions:
1. Social and MS media to encourage anyone to do a climate deal with themselves, their company, or a group, then share it to aggregate results.
2. Corporate activities around deal development, efficiency and collaboration to achieve scale impacts
2. Confirmed co-working days in Davos and London on 26 JAN to do climate deals. Companies and leaders are invited to meet, collaborate, announce their own climate related deals.

Who: Early Adopters in some of the biggest companies and organizations on the planet, who are already working to share, support, coordinate, innovate and promote CDD. (that's you)
Goal: A plethora of individual, organization, and networking deals around climate on this day, powered by social media and vectors spreading the word, linked to high level deal push.
Mission: Save 1 Gigaton of Carbon
Messaging Pathway: Change. Positivity. Progress. Deals.

PROGRESS
An expanding website explaining CDD is now live at http://ClimateDealDay.org

A Facilitator programme has been developed for companies that wish to lead deal-making at coordinated events in London and Davos. It involves a number of benefits, and an overview document is available here: http://hub.vg/FacilitatorOverview. If you want to create such a deal or become a Facilitator, please email [email protected] or [email protected] between now and January 21st.

Early Adopters - We are building a community of 1000 Early Adopters via this mailing group who are working on developing the CDD Spark into their own projects. Action is centered around: syncing deal activity, reporting deals, sharing deals, and engaging customers, portfolio companies, and executive leadership for coordinated action. To add other leaders to this list, please send their name/email to [email protected]
