The world's first festival-goer fan generated compendium of the best moments of 2009's UK summer Festivals. Festival Annual '09 was created over 96
days at 21 festivals, through the sun, the sunburn, the rain and mud, and with
the contribution of over 15,000 British festival lovers.
This is the first ever
user-generated book featuring those memorable experiences from this year s
leading UK music festivals... but uniquely, from the point of view of the Great
British Public. This is your festival
book. It's not about the music or even the bands that play - it's about the
people that go to the festivals to remember those amazing, fun filled and even very muddy moments.
Festival Annual 09
is a fantastically glorious coffee table book with 312 pages of iconic imagery
featuring personal stories and observations of some of the real stars of the
summer.
"Included are the iconic
Mankini Man and Kissing Booth guy from T in the Park and Eddie Griffiths' topsy
turvy trip through the Fun House at Download, to fellow festival lovers like
Dizzee Rascal, Frank Skinner, Friendly Fires, Jaime Winstone, Rob da Bank,
Brendon Burns, Little Boots and Edith Bowman amongst others. The vibe, the buzz
- whatever you call it, there's something unique in the air when you go to a
festival and this book captures the very essence of that something special."
Festival
