18th Jan 2012
This is the third year the Pavilion has arrived in Davos, bringing with it a new way for executives and influencers to connect and engage against the backdrop of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting.
Friendly and engaging, this is the place to meet the brands supporting the space, find great people, and to learn something new in a more informal setting.
Because the Pavilion is linked to the Hub Culture social network, its also a great place to keep in touch for later, with a linked system that allows members and participants to connect and stay connected, over the lifetime of the Pavilion.
Wednesday 25 January: The Clean Revolution
Thursday 26 January: Rise of the Tech Machine
Friday 27 January: Finance Disruption
Tune in to HubLive TV to catch these webcasts in action, at 2pm CET on each day.
Special features for the 2012 Pavilion include the installation of kinetic flooring from Pavegen and NikeGrind - a system that generates kinetic power from footsteps, with tiles made from recycled materials from Nike.
Outside, Renault Nissan Alliance is using the revolutionary Leaf-to-Home system to power a cocoa hut, delivering warm drinks to passing delegates throughout the week.
In the evenings, cocktail parties focused on these topics will provide a more relaxed setting for guests to enjoy themselves. Join us on Wednesday at 7pm for The Clean Revolution Cocktail with The Climate Group and Ecological Sequestration Trust, celebrating Climate Deal Day.
Join us Thursday at 5.30pm for a Hub Culture Tech Happy Hour - a chance for some philosphical musings on the future of tech with Techonomy and MIT Media Lab.
On Friday, Hub Culture will be hosting a series of discussions on finance and virtual currency, featured around Ven digital currency.
Finally, friends and guests will cap the week on Saturday with dinner up on Schaltzalp for a fun closing night, and our 2nd Annual Midnight Toboggan Run!
