"What about Me?" by 1 Giant Leap

Following on from the success of their first critically acclaimed film and album, Duncan Bridgeman and Jamie Catto travelled the globe stopping off at 50 different locations to collect words of wisdom and musical jewels from our world's most unique cultures from their collection of collaborations, they pieced and layered together the unique and deeply impressive global Film mosaic that is What About Me?.

What About Me? is the culmination of four years work by Grammy award nominees Bridgeman and Catto. The film features one of the most exquisite collections of collaborators seen on a music project from international stars such as REM and Alanis Morisette to Will young, Bob Geldof and Billy Connolly. The renouned voices of Morissette, Baaba Maal, KD Lang and Michael Franti along with Bedouin Musicians, Chinese rappers, Gabonese Pygmies and Tuvan throat singers are seamlessly mixed into each other, which all expand on to the same 1 Giant Leap musical vision. A true musical and visual work of art.

More than a musical masterpiece, Bridgeman and Catto explore deep cultural themes, similarities and differences in the pseudo psychologies of our collective 'insanity' - how we are ego driven, needy in relationships, insatiable in desire, addicted to status, wounded by childhood and unable to stop thinking, but how we manage to be ultimately inspired and incredibly creative.
