The summit brings together government leaders, heads of organizations, the scientific community and other stewards of the environment dedicated to finding lasting solutions to global climate change.

The day began in the Los Angeles Ballroom with a video presentation by actor Harrison Ford that introduced www.teamearth.com and continued on with several other general sessions and breakouts that included international environmental and political luminaries.
