Welcome to the Carbon Markets project notes
These are the main topics being discussed at the Summit.  Participants can add to these subjects with information, best practices and project developments.  Over time they will grow into their own projects for development of ideas, projects and solutions going toward Copenhagen.  Best of all, groups can be created to submit projects for eligibility for the Ven Prize - an Award of over V100,000.
Overview
 If the United States had a Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) that would rival Japan and it's globalization of
their Kyoto agreement which facilitates their SE Asia and S. Asia market penetration, establishing Goodwill. We could do the same in Mexico
and Central as well as South America. I am active in the first step in Transportation transformation and that is growing of Feedstock.  The
millions spent on Boarder Security ought to be for investment in a collaborative NAFTA project. Consider the motivations of the Illegal Migration
from Mexico to the USA and from Africa into the EU. People need jobs, opportunities to provide for their families. Most Illegal Migrants come
for jobs and send home money for their family. It is about the Economy Stupid to use a phrase of not too long ago. Feedstock for Biofuels both
Biodiesel and Cellulosic Ethanol is needed and low cost feedstock and/or processed fuel would have a local and export market.Â
What are the Goals?
The Goal is to facilitate Best Practice in Agriculture for the establishment and improvements of Feedstock for biofuels. Train the Youth in Vocational School for productive skills.  Get a return on investment to expand the program
Who can help?
The United Nations promoted the Type Two Partnership in South Africa in 2002 at the World Summit on Sustainable Development. Rural development needs to be sustainable development and business is designed to be run in a sustainable way where payment for materials and labor circulates the money. Some grant giving groups may be focused and that would help. However, to complete the velocity of money and involve in the Type Two Partnership governments, non profits and for profit business need to all function. Â
Non profits can function as a Social Enterprise which is business like. The For profit business with an inclusive social mission still needs to cover cost and generate an Return on Investment (ROI) for growth. Governments can lower tax on income earned by the For profit business as it is doing a social activity and ought to reduce by employment the unemployed benefit cost. The incentive will increase job creation by growth.
Timelines
Our group has started and we have had a few low level talks with University and UN offices who need to supplement their mandate ASAP.
