In December, the World Economic Forum announced the move of the 2021 Annual Meeting to Singapore, from 25-28 May 2021. The Singapore meeting will be the first large in-person global leaders meeting since the COVID-19 pandemic began, and is set to be an important moment in the history of WEF and the broader community. It is only the 2nd Annual Meeting to be held outside of Davos, and Hub Culture is already planning to provide services for strategic partners in Singapore.

Much of our strategy around 2021 involves virtualization services that can be applied beyond the Hubs that we manage, which can be utilised by the community as a whole. Here is a look at what we are planning.

January - The Davos Agenda

Join Hub Culture in virtual reality as we convene discussions focused on the concept of Davos across the far future: Davos 2121. This week-long series of conversations includes virtual reality events in Emerald City, with daily podcast episodes of the Chronicles discussion series and salon panels focused on the far future. From singularity to A.I. to bioengineering and space, we’ll be exploring Davos 2121 with our community.

May - Annual Meeting in Singapore

As the Annual Meeting convenes in Singapore, The Hub Culture Singapore Pavilion will gather partners and community members in person for a week of activity alongside the main event, from 24-29 May. We will be featuring the services and support our partners count on, along with continuing editorial coverage of the main agenda themes from Hub Culture’s social media team.

Beyond the Singapore Pavilion, partner spaces and projects will enjoy connections to Hub Culture virtual reality services, adding an identity, concierge, and virtual event layer to a network of locations, with access to digital vaccine and test verification services as part of AQUA, our health and travel service. Enabling venues and places to match identity with vaccine testing, test verification, and other components, we can help to ensure good outcomes while keeping data ownership in the hands of participants and members.
