Hub Culture's support of the contemporary art world continues with our second annual involvement with London's Whitechapel Gallery and their Art + project. Over the years this event has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds to support ongoing renovation and expansion work at the gallery, one of the most important in the London art scene and a rare public space on London's groovy east side.

This year's theme is Art + Drama, and Hub Culture has donated a weekend in a super-car (our choice - Ferrari or Porsche) and a weekend stay at a cozy English country inn to help raise funds for the gallery's ongoing expansion and renovation. The destination location is the beautiful Costwold House Hotel, located in Gloucestershire, part of England's famed Cotswalds, country delight and home to the most beautiful villages in the Isles. Built in 1802, the inn is well located for a day's driving in the country lanes of the area, and is close enough to London to make it a day trip in either direction.

The Hub Culture lot will go up for auction at the event along with works of art from leading contemporary artists, amid a series of artistic drama performances from leading actors in the London scene.

The party is traditionally one of the best for early in the year in London, and tickets are available exclusively through the Whitechapel Gallery, priced at 95.00 each. Simply download the ticketing form at the whitechapel website, email [email protected] (This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it) or call +44 207 522 7864 to reserve your space today.

Hub Culture's thanks go out to the committee behind the event, Hogan, which generously sponsored this year's project, and the many people who will make 2007 the best year ever for the Art + project.

See you there and bid high for the Hub Culture weekend, then check back for party highlights after the event.
