Hub Culture is teaming up with the London Carbon Market and other partners to present the Hub Culture Durban Pavilion, a place for networking and interaction during COP17. Beautifully located in Umhlanga Rocks, just north of the city center, the Pavilion offers integrated networking facilities and space, a series of evening events, and coordination for partner activities during COP17, the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

General partners working with Hub Culture with access to the Pavilion include the Climate Group, Carbon War Room, Winrock, the London Carbon Market, the World Climate Summit, NYSE Blue, the American Carbon Registry, Thomson Reuters, CNN and other media partners.

On 6 December, Hub Culture will host a strategy working session for climate solutions in the financial sector, focused on innovation and collaboration with the Ven digital currency. Ven is an important tool for driving carbon finance, and can be used as a leverage point for driving carbon related innovation inside companies and the financial sector at large. Attendees will find out how to use Ven around these purposes and to develop new tools for the Ven economy at this important day-long session.
