GetGlobal 2016 attracted over 1,000 participants, 150 speakers and other experts who set the agenda on scaling businesses in key markets and across crucial industries - from tacos to trade deals, the conversations left no stone unturned.

Horst Schulze, Founding President and former COO of Ritz-Carlton Hotel & CEO of the Capella Group opened day two with a review of his journey to excellence in the creation and development of the Ritz-Carlton brand, all based on the principle of "Ladies and Gentlemen Serving Ladies and Gentlemen..." Hub Culture Executive Editor, Edie Lush hosted interviews and talks throughout the morning during a revolving range of activity in the Pavilion. Daniel Tarman, Chief Communications Officer at eBay and Chris Kuechenmeister from PepsiCo were up first on a panel led by Stan Stalnaker. They discussed communication strategies when building global brands and the role of innovation in the organizations. Tarman outlined the role of data and analytics in this while Kuechenmeister shared secrets of success from PepsiCo's kitchens.

Susan K Ross from MSK was among the morning interviewees who talked about cyber security and the risks of going global; James Gancos CEO of The Guestbook also joined Edie Lush on stage to discuss how the internet has changed the way we travel.

Over lunch Hub Culture hosted an exclusive CITI fireside chat with Timicka Anderson, Head of Branded Consumer & Retail Sectors - US Commercial Bank - Global & National Industries with May Lee from CCTV America.

The afternoon was all about the super sessions with Canada, Europe and ASEAN discussions. Rob Crabtree, Director of Operations at Velocity Global was joined by Rachel Horning, Policy Manager for Los Angeles County Business Federation and Richard Swanson, Regional Director of Pacific South Network of the International Trade Administration to discuss creating a successful expansion strategy and the risks involved - a popular panel session.
