It's been over a week since the first GetGlobal conference took place in Los Angeles and we're reminising on some of the amazing discussions that happened throughout the event.

One of our highlights has to be when Dan Tarman, CCO of Ebay and Chris Kuechenmeister, VP Communications of Pepsico took to the Hub Culture stage to talk with Stan Stalnaker about communication strategies, leverging technology and the importance of storytelling.

An interesting topic that was discussed widely throughout the conference was augmented and virtual reality. Obviously as technology continues to evolve at a rapid pace, the question we ask ourselves is how do big companies continue to keep up? When asked if he saw immmersive enviroments for big brands, Chris Keuchenmeister stated 'anything can happen - you need to consider does this make sense for that particular brand and how does it further the narrative'. Dan Tarman went on to say focus needs to be on the end consumer and how these technologies actually enhance the users overall experience.
