Hub Culture House Rio is coming soon
The
Rio+20 Earth Summit is right around the corner, and many have been working long and hard to build new solutions for a better world ahead.
As part of this Hub Culture has been working with a team of global and local partners to renovate a stunning seafront location into a new model for collaboration and innovation in Brasil - Hub Culture House Rio, located at 99 Avenue Niemeyer in Leblon, next door to the Sheraton.
Phase 1 of
Hub Culture House Rio is now under construction and opens 15 June in partnership with
Coca-Cola,
CNN, environmental NGOs like the
Carbon War Room,
the Climate Group and other partners, and will feature a week of activities via the Environmental Innovation Lab - a project where friends, partners and interested parties can work on solutions for the world we live in.
The Environmental Innovation Lab is an extension of a similar project getting underway at
Hub Beijing, which is also opening in phases this summer in partnership with
Beijing Jin Tai Art Museum.
Hub Rio will feature daily focus on forests, oceans, plastic, mobility and more, with schedules announced 5 June at http://hub.vg/rio for 15-23 June 2012.
Will you join us in Rio as we work on these issues?
Partnerships, daily activities, evening networking events and more will all be part of the programme.
Success today is about collaboration - not silos - and we welcome everyone to work with us to do our small part in making Rio+20 a success.
To be involved you've got to be in touch, so feel free to drop any questions into our online collaboration group at http://hub.vg/rio or email us at
[email protected].
