What is this? How does it work?

Stan Stalnaker said: This group and digital Pavilion interface for the Japan Disaster is designed to enable swarming collaboration among participants. We aim to connect relief workers from organizations on the ground with suppliers who can provide needed materials, and the transport points that can help get it delivered.

Participants can add to the wikis on what is needed and what is being offered, and as supply points become confirmed and available, we are working to put them in the store so relief organizations can work on picking the items and materials they need, and get connected to the sources of supply.

Later, we expect more materials and services to come available. Right now, you should invite other participants you know who are working to help - either on the ground or via contributions.

This Hub is not about collecting money per se, but more about collective collaboration on the things that need to get done. Discussions can help that happen, and the projects enable rolling wikis, master sets of links to resources, and crucial file sharing. Invite others as needed, and contact the Valets if you have specific questions or needs.

You can also make a knowledge request in the hopes that others in the Hub Community can help.
