Hub Culture has unveiled a new app for members at SXSW 2017 in Austin. The mobile service for IOS and Android enables event curation and new member services including secure chat, maps, video, news and partner offers. It utilizes HubID, the digital identity service underpinning Ven, Hub Culture and other network services for secure, seamless access.

The app is oriented around major Hubs, core to the original Hub Culture thesis of urban centers driving the culture. It allows users to develop events within Hubs around the world, and covers upcoming events on the Hub calendar, including SXSW, the Cannes Film Festival, the America's Cup, World Economic Forum city events, and other places where the community is active and engaged with leaders. It allows users to search a global network of members, and offers secure messaging and chat, with one touch Ven payments worldwide.

Coming soon: a Radio offering for the new Hub Culture podcast for the Global Goals, set to debut in May 2017 on a 24 hour radio station embedded in the app. The podcast features commentary from Executive Editor Edie Lush and UNICEF's Claudia Gonzalez Romo. Following that, GAIA, a new gaming function based around Ven, will appear for users as an additional feature.

New partner offers will be rolling out in selected Hubs throughout 2017, with the first benefits appearing as part of the spring 2017 Bali, Durban, New York and Cannes experiences leading the calendar.
