Hub Culture has unveiled its first digital currency treasure hunt, with over $15,000 in digital cash and prizes hidden at London's Frieze Art Fair. Five numbered cards are hidden at the fair with a set of corresponding public clues.

To claim the prize, the finder must simply tweet the hashtag on the card to @hubculture or @vencurrency.

Each public clue references art world hints and the location of the card to enable treasure hunters to find it. Prizes include a weekend in Venice at Hub Culture's February charity fundraiser, gold, silk lingerie from Ligne de Soie, and Ven digital currency.

Both Ven prizes can be spent at Hub Culture, moved P2P globally or exchanged in the markets via Hub Culture's new currency liquidity partnership with the Kraken digital currency exchange.

1. The Grand: 100,000 Ven

Clue: At the center of the Islamic algorithm is a pattern. Follow the path of the thin white line to the number, seeking symmetry with art at large.

2. The Gold: A single 1 oz. .9999 Ven solid gold piece

Clue: Over candy under foot, before future immerses past, one looks up and down, but not a round.

3. The Silver: 10,000 Ven

Clue: Sugared squares get drenched in coffee when saucers have no corners

4. The Bronze: Weekend villa in Venice during Carnivale 2014 with two tickets to Hub Culture's charity gala

Clue: On the gypsy trail mountains are hard to climb and valleys slow to pass - wheels turn best when rolling west.

5. The Silk: Silk lingerie playsuit from Ligne de Soie

Clue: On the silk road from ancient to modern, the wise knew to stop and smell the roses. But the fun was in the bushes.

On each card is a #hashtag which must be tweeted to successfully claim the prize and the card must be presented upon request by Hub Culture. Each card contains the Ven currency symbol. Hunt ends Sunday, 20 October at 20.00. Unclaimed treasure will roll over to the next hunt, a series of which are scheduled at major art fairs through 2014.
