Most Addictive PC Games of Today

< Previous | Main | Next >

16th May 2021

There are a lot of games that you can play on the PC. Some, like World of Warcraft and League of Legends, are massively popular. Others, like Apex Legends or Overwatch, have a more niche following. And then there's Destiny 2 which is all over the place! In this blog post, I want to talk about some of the most addictive PC games out there today - what makes them so great and why you should play them if you're looking for something new to do with your free time!

World of Warcraft

One of the most popular PC games, World of Warcraft has maintained a following for over 12 years. It's one of those evergreen titles that continues to attract new players and maintain its core fanbase as well. World of Warcraft is the most popular MMORPG on PC, with an estimated 100 million players as of November 2013.

WOW has been played by more than a third of all MMORPG gamers and grossed over $12 billion in revenue. The game was released on 23rd November 2004 and had 12 million subscribers at its peak in October 2010.

WOW's gameplay revolves around completing quests for NPCs (non-player characters) to get items or points that can be used to gain access to yet another quest or level up your character’s abilities; this cycle repeats itself until you reach the highest difficulty setting which includes raids against CPU opponents, PvP play against other humans,

The game is largely about massively multiplayer online RPGs with both PvP (player vs player) and PvE (player vs environment) options available in-game - so you can choose how competitive or cooperative your gameplay experience will be!

All races are playable within WoW except for Goblin which was introduced later in lore. Players have access to professions such as jewel crafting, engineering, mining, skinning, and herbalism which they can use to create goods like armor sets or weapons. Remember that you can always use a WoW boost if you got stuck while grinding your way to level 60. There’s no shame in it. Even the best players use it. At least to skip the boring parts.

League of Legends

League of Legends is a free-to-play game that has over 100 million monthly players. The gameplay features two teams with five members each competing against one another in an online battle arena where the objective is for your team's base (nexus) to destroy the opposing side's base first by using computer-controlled units and spells, called "summoner spells."

This player versus player free game also allows you to create custom maps and share them with others through their map editor Riot Games released on October 27th, 2016. It was developed and published by Riot Games for Windows PC, Mac OS X, iOS as well as Android platforms.

It has a lot to offer, with tons of maps and modes for all playstyles. You can be a tanky bruiser in the top lane or give up your life as the last line of defense on the bottom lane if you prefer being support. There are so many champions that no matter what kind of player you are there will always be one that suits your style.

The complexity also makes it perfect for competitive gaming, where pros battle against each other every day to try their hardest to show off just how good they really are at League.

Overwatch

The Overwatch game is a first-person shooter video game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. The gameplay involves two teams of six players that battle each other in order to take control points on the map or escort an object across the map, for example, payloads (often represented as carts) which slowly move along set paths.

Players must work cooperatively with teammates to coordinate both attack and defense of objectives against enemy players who are trying to stop them, while also completing various tasks like capturing opposing team’s flags or escorting their own flag back home base.

The hardest level to complete in the game Overwatch is not a secret anymore. The most difficult and frustrating stage for many players is the "Nepal" map. Nepal has three different difficulties, but it's still challenging for even experienced gamers due to its unorthodox design and layout.

It's the least popular stage among fans of this famous first-person shooter video game that was released back in May 2016 by Blizzard Entertainment, Inc., which makes it one of those levels that are really hard to beat without gaming skills, but also one of those levels that are easy enough so you don't have to worry about dying very often while playing on it!
