The Davos Distracted Driving Challenge - #Tech4RoadSafety

Come join us for a distracted driving challenge - test your brain’s vigilance and compare it with World’s best drivers. Each participant will have the opportunity to undertake a ‘trail-making-test’ in the form of a sensitive cognitive assessment of visual search speed, scanning, speed of processing, attention and mental flexibility while brainwaves monitored and displayed in real time. The test takes around 2 minutes to complete and is anonymous. These cognitive capabilities are crucial for safety and sustainable high-performance in driving, in business, and in life. They are also significantly impaired by stress, fatigue and distraction. Changes in performance in the test can be used to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions to improve cognitive performance, and also gauge the impact of inadequate sleep, or an individual response to stress, for example. The trail-making-test generates personal results in the form of speed and accuracy. We will benchmark these results against anonymised data gathered from the world’s best drivers.
