Serpentine Pavilion 2007: Olafur Eliasson & Kjetil Thorsen
Hub Culture has teamed up with the
Serpentine Gallery for the Future Contemporaries Party on Saturday 29 September, to be held at the gallery's latest pavilion designed by the internationally acclaimed artist Olafur
Eliasson and the award-winning Norwegian architect Kjetil Thorsen, of
the architectural practice
Sn
hetta.
Tickets are very tight, so to ensure RSVP email them now and quote Hub Culture or call the gallery on +44 207 402 6075.
The Future Contemporaries project is part of a hot initiative by the gallery to bring global up-and-comers into the orbit of contemporary art, and the evening is presented by
Jo Malone.
(Other nights, the Pavilion acts as a
laboratory
with artists, architects, academics and scientists leading
a series of public experiments and culminating
in an extraordinary, two-part, 48-hour marathon laboratory event
exploring the architecture of the senses.)
A true experience indeed! A whirl to the top of the pavilion and a peep through a secret hole alone is worth it if you didn't make it on the scientist's Friday night list!
