Are you a writer with stories to tell? Hub Culture's Writers in Residence programme offers writing opportunities for members of the Hub Culture community, with a Ven stiped attached.  Applications are being accepted now for three slots, with the residency running from June 15 - September 1, 2014.

The residency programme selects one writer in each of three categories: fiction, non-fiction and poetry.  Applicants are encouraged to submit three writing samples of original work by June 10, 2014 for review by the Hub Culture editorial team. Upon selection, the writer will have the option of submitting additional works over the summer or to have the originally submitted works published at HubCulture.com during the programme.  Short stories, poetry, documentary reports and thought-pieces are all welcome, and editorial comment will be provided.

In addition to publication of the work on Hub Culture, each Writer in Residence receives a 2,000 Ven stiped for the summer programme, which can be used throughout the Hub Culture community and the Ven ecosystem.  Regular contributions are expected over the course of the project to build a repertoire of published work for the writer.
