For the last four years, Hub Culture has been lucky enough to be involved in an amazing camp at Burning Man called A Transformation Station. 

As always, Patrick Deegan helped lead, build and create this amazing camp and bought along a very special project (and it's team)...

I, Awake, lead by Patrick, has a mission to fulfill Larry Harvey's vision to create transcendent cultural experiences by sharing an interactive Robot Man with the playa.

In honor of the I, Robot theme this year and with Larry Harvey’s vision guiding them, the I, Awake team is manifesting an intelligent robot that will transcend the traditionally static role of an installation and become a participant itself. The robot will interact with participants as much as they interact with it. Through gesture, emotion and movement, communication between the robot and its human counterparts will be enabled.

The team bought along a mini prototype of the robot to our camp, where we hosted 'Robot Happy Hour' to demonstrate it's amazing capabilities to the community. 

We also had the pleasure of welcoming Ocean WhiteHawk to our camp - often known as Mother Ocean to her students worldwide, she's an evolutionist who is totally focused on the spiritual advancement of the human race. Each morning, Ocean would lead group meditations and kindly offer her services for one to one sessions. If you're ever in Hong Kong, be sure to visit her Samadhi Training Centre which offers teachings in conciousness, soul training in the path of enlightenment and meditation. 

We can't wait for next year and to help curate and bring to life the incredible A Transformation Station camp.
