This is a biography written by Hub Culture about Lauren Prakke:

As founder and chair of the TATE Young Patrons group and an active member of a number of European art committees, her connections in the global art world are very strong.  

In addition to building emerging artists in video, photography and mixed media through her art advisory Prakke Contemporary, Lauren co-founded Restless Buddha, which produces creative projects to advance social awareness at large. She is also co-chair of Women for Women International, a leading organization working to improve women's rights around the world.
